How to Add Your Restaurant Menu
Adding your restaurant menu to B&N Quick Eats allows customers to browse your food and drinks and place their orders online.
Each menu item must be uploaded individually with the correct information and required tags.
Step 1 — Log In to Your Seller Account
Log in to your seller account and open your Seller Dashboard.
Go to Products and select Add Product to begin adding an item from your restaurant menu.
Each food or drink item you sell should have its own product listing.
For example:
- Chicken Meal
- Grilled Fish
- Cheeseburger
- Chicken Roti
- Pizza
- Fruit Juice
- Soft Drink
Step 2 — Enter the Menu Item Name
Enter the name exactly as you want customers to see it.
Good examples:
Grilled Chicken Meal
Large Pepperoni Pizza
Chicken Roti
Avoid vague names such as Meal, Food, or Special.
Customers should immediately understand what they are ordering.
Step 3 — Add the Menu Item Description
Describe what comes with the item.
For example:
Grilled chicken served with seasoned rice, fresh salad and your choice of sauce.
Include important information such as portion size, sides, ingredients, flavours or available choices when applicable.
Do not include something in the description that the customer will not receive.
Step 4 — Upload a Clear Photo
Upload a clear and attractive image of the menu item.
Use a photo that accurately represents what the customer will receive.
For best results:
- Use good lighting.
- Make the food clearly visible.
- Keep the surrounding area clean.
- Avoid blurry images.
- Do not use an image of a different meal.
Step 5 — Enter the Price
Enter the correct selling price for the menu item.
Example:
Grilled Chicken Meal — EC$25.00
Check the price carefully before submitting the item.
Step 6 — Add Options or Variants
If the menu item has different options, add them where appropriate.
For example:
Size: Small / Medium / Large
Flavour: BBQ / Spicy / Garlic
Drink: Coke / Sprite / Water
Side: Fries / Rice / Salad
Make sure any additional charges for different options are entered correctly.
Step 7 — Add Your Restaurant District Tag — MANDATORY
Every menu item must contain your restaurant's district tag.
The district tag tells B&N Quick Eats where the restaurant is located so the correct delivery rules can be applied.
For example, if your restaurant is located in Castries, every menu item uploaded by your restaurant must contain the appropriate Castries district tag.
If you upload 30 menu items, the district tag must be added to all 30 items.
Important
Use the district where the restaurant is physically located, not the customer's delivery location.
Restaurant District Tag: REQUIRED ON EVERY MENU ITEM
Step 8 — Add Your Restaurant Time Tag — MANDATORY
Every restaurant has its own unique restaurant time tag.
This tag identifies your restaurant's operating time and allows B&N Quick Eats to determine when customers can order from your restaurant.
Your assigned restaurant time tag must be added to every menu item you upload.
For example:
Restaurant Time Tag: Your restaurant's assigned time tag
The exact tag assigned to your restaurant must be used. Do not create a different time tag or change the wording.
If your restaurant has 30 menu items, the same assigned restaurant time tag must be placed on all 30 items.
Restaurant Time Tag: REQUIRED ON EVERY MENU ITEM
Your Two Mandatory Restaurant Tags
Every menu item requires both:
1. Restaurant District Tag
Identifies where your restaurant is located.
2. Restaurant Time Tag
Identifies your restaurant's assigned operating hours.
Both tags must be added to every individual menu item.
Example
A restaurant located in Castries has been assigned its unique restaurant time tag.
When uploading:
Chicken Meal
✓ Castries district tag
✓ Restaurant's assigned time tag
Fish Meal
✓ Castries district tag
✓ Restaurant's assigned time tag
Burger
✓ Castries district tag
✓ Restaurant's assigned time tag
Fruit Juice
✓ Castries district tag
✓ Restaurant's assigned time tag
The required tags are repeated on every product belonging to that restaurant.
Step 9 — Select the Correct Menu Category
Place the item in the correct menu category.
Depending on your restaurant's menu, categories may include:
Main Meals
Breakfast
Lunch
Burgers
Pizza
Sides
Desserts
Drinks
Using the correct category makes it easier for customers to browse your menu.
Step 10 — Check Availability
Only make menu items available when your restaurant can actually prepare and sell them.
If an item is temporarily unavailable, update its availability rather than allowing customers to order something you cannot provide.
Keep your menu updated whenever products, prices or availability change.
Step 11 — Review Before Submitting
Before saving a menu item, make sure:
- ✓ Menu item name is correct
- ✓ Description is accurate
- ✓ Price is correct
- ✓ Photo clearly represents the item
- ✓ Options and variants are correct
- ✓ Menu category is correct
- ✓ Restaurant district tag is added
- ✓ Restaurant's unique time tag is added
Step 12 — Save Your Menu Item
Once all information and required tags have been entered, save or submit the menu item.
Repeat the process for each item on your restaurant menu.
Important: Tags Must Be Added to Every Menu Item
Adding your district and time tags to only one product is not enough.
If your restaurant uploads:
20 food items + 5 drinks = 25 menu items
then all 25 menu items must contain both mandatory restaurant tags.
Every Menu Item
Restaurant District Tag ✓
Restaurant Time Tag ✓
Missing or incorrect tags can prevent the menu item from working correctly on B&N Quick Eats.
Before You Finish
Your restaurant menu should have:
✓ Clear menu item names
✓ Accurate descriptions
✓ Correct prices
✓ Clear food photos
✓ Correct options and variants
✓ Correct categories
✓ Restaurant District Tag on every item
✓ Restaurant Time Tag on every item
Once your menu is complete, keep your prices, items and availability updated so customers always see accurate information when ordering from your restaurant.
