QuickRide Vehicle Standard
QuickRide Clean Vehicle Standard
Interior, Exterior, Smell, Safety, Tires, Brakes, and AC Guidelines
Purpose
Every QuickRide vehicle must be clean, safe, and customer-ready before accepting any job.
The vehicle is part of the service. A dirty vehicle makes the customer question the driver, the company, and the safety of the trip or delivery. A clean driver with a dirty vehicle is still not professional.
This standard applies to all QuickRide vehicles used for:
- Transportation service
- Taxi service
- Ride share
- Airport and ferry transfers
- School transfers
- Work transfers
- Food delivery
- Courier service
- Business delivery
- Errand service
- Marketplace delivery
- Contract trips
A vehicle must not only move. It must represent the QuickRide brand properly.
1. Basic Vehicle Standard
Before starting work, the vehicle must be:
- Clean inside.
- Clean outside.
- Free from garbage.
- Free from bad smells.
- Safe to drive.
- Comfortable for customers.
- Ready to carry passengers, food, packages, or errands.
- Free from anything that makes the company look careless.
The customer should not enter the vehicle and feel like they are stepping into the driver’s personal storage space.
2. Interior Cleanliness Standard
The inside of the vehicle must be cleaned before duty.
The driver must check:
- Seats.
- Floor mats.
- Dashboard.
- Door handles.
- Cup holders.
- Seat belts.
- Trunk or delivery space.
- Passenger foot area.
- Back seat area.
- Front passenger area.
The vehicle must not have:
- Dust buildup.
- Mud.
- Sand.
- Food crumbs.
- Food containers.
- Empty bottles.
- Old receipts.
- Dirty clothes.
- Cigarette ash.
- Used tissues.
- Trash bags.
- Tools lying around.
- Personal items blocking customer space.
The customer must have clean space to sit, place bags, or receive delivery items.
3. Exterior Cleanliness Standard
The outside of the vehicle must look presentable.
The vehicle does not need to be polished every day, but it must not look neglected.
The driver must keep clean:
- Windshield.
- Windows.
- Mirrors.
- Headlights.
- Brake lights.
- Door handles.
- License plates.
- Body panels.
- Wheels where reasonable.
Not acceptable:
- Heavy dust covering the vehicle.
- Mud splashed across doors.
- Dirty windshield affecting visibility.
- License plate covered with dirt.
- Windows too dirty for passengers to see clearly.
- Bird mess left on the vehicle.
- Vehicle looking abandoned or neglected.
A customer should feel confident when the vehicle arrives.
4. Dust and Dirt Standard
Dust and dirt must be controlled daily.
The driver must:
- Wipe dashboard and visible surfaces.
- Shake or clean floor mats.
- Remove sand and mud from passenger areas.
- Keep seats free from dust.
- Keep door panels and handles clean.
- Clean dusty windows and mirrors.
Dust may seem small, but it tells the customer the vehicle is not being maintained.
For airport transfers, school transfers, and passenger trips, dust inside the vehicle is especially unacceptable because customers sit inside and breathe that air.
5. Garbage Standard
No QuickRide vehicle should carry customers or deliveries with garbage inside.
The driver must remove:
- Food boxes.
- Drink bottles.
- Plastic bags.
- Used napkins.
- Wrappers.
- Old receipts.
- Empty fuel containers.
- Personal waste.
- Used masks or tissues.
- Any trash from previous trips.
The driver must not wait until the end of the day if the garbage is visible or smelling.
Garbage must be removed immediately after it is created.
6. Smell and Odor Standard
The vehicle must smell clean and fresh.
Not allowed:
- Sweat smell.
- Cigarette smell.
- Marijuana smell.
- Alcohol smell.
- Food smell.
- Rotten smell.
- Damp smell.
- Fuel smell.
- Oil smell.
- Pet smell.
- Garbage smell.
- Strong perfume covering bad odor.
Air freshener is not a replacement for cleaning.
The correct standard is:
Remove the source of the smell first. Then freshen the vehicle.
If the vehicle smells bad, the driver should not accept passenger jobs until the smell is corrected.
7. Smoking Standard Inside Vehicle
Smoking inside a QuickRide vehicle is not allowed while working.
The driver must not:
- Smoke inside the vehicle.
- Allow passengers to smoke inside the vehicle.
- Carry food or packages in a vehicle smelling of smoke.
- Pick up customers immediately after smoking if the smell remains on the driver or vehicle.
Smoke smell stays in seats, roof lining, AC vents, and clothing. It creates complaints and makes the vehicle feel dirty even when it looks clean.
8. Seat Standard
Seats must be clean and safe for customers.
The driver must check:
- No stains.
- No wet spots.
- No food crumbs.
- No sharp objects.
- No broken seat parts.
- No exposed metal or wires.
- No strong smell from seats.
- No dirty seat covers.
For passenger service, customers must not sit on dirty, wet, torn, or smelly seats.
For school transfers, this standard must be strict because parents are trusting the vehicle with their children.
9. Floor and Mat Standard
The floor area must be clean enough for passengers to enter without stepping into dirt.
The driver must check:
- Mud.
- Sand.
- Dust.
- Food.
- Water.
- Oil.
- Garbage.
- Bad smell.
Floor mats should be shaken, wiped, or washed regularly.
A vehicle with dirty floor mats looks neglected even if the seats are clean.
10. Dashboard, Doors, and Handles
Customer touch points must be clean.
The driver must wipe:
- Door handles.
- Window buttons.
- Seat belt buckles.
- Armrests.
- Dashboard.
- Cup holders.
- Door panels.
These areas collect dust, sweat, grease, and germs quickly.
A passenger notices dirty door handles immediately.
11. Windows, Mirrors, and Windshield
Windows and mirrors are both cleanliness and safety issues.
The driver must ensure:
- Windshield is clear.
- Side windows are clean.
- Rear window is clean.
- Mirrors are clean and properly positioned.
- No heavy tint, dirt, or fog blocking visibility.
- No stickers or items blocking the driver’s view.
Dirty glass is not only unprofessional. It can cause accidents.
12. Trunk and Delivery Space Standard
The trunk or delivery area must be clean and ready.
The driver must remove:
- Dirty tools.
- Oil containers.
- Chemicals.
- Wet items.
- Garbage.
- Personal clothes.
- Old food.
- Loose parts.
- Anything that can damage packages, food, or luggage.
For food delivery:
- Food must not be placed near garbage, tools, oil, chemicals, or dirty clothes.
For courier service:
- Packages must not be placed where they can get wet, crushed, stained, or contaminated.
For airport transfer:
- Luggage space must be clean and available before pickup.
13. Personal Items Inside Vehicle
The vehicle must not look like the driver’s bedroom, kitchen, or storage room.
Allowed personal items should be limited and organized.
Not acceptable in customer areas:
- Dirty clothes.
- Shoes.
- Food containers.
- Random bags.
- Tools.
- Vehicle parts.
- Laundry.
- Personal documents scattered around.
- Empty bottles.
- Household items.
Customer space must remain customer space.
14. AC and Ventilation Standard
The AC or ventilation must be working properly for passenger service where possible.
The driver must check:
- AC cooling.
- Fan speed.
- Air vents.
- Bad smell from AC vents.
- Fog clearing ability.
- Window function if AC is not being used.
The vehicle must not blow:
- Dusty air.
- Moldy smell.
- Smoke smell.
- Damp smell.
- Hot air when AC is expected.
If the AC is not working, the driver must report it before accepting jobs where AC is expected or required.
The driver must never lie to the customer and pretend AC works when it does not.
15. Tire Standard
Tires must be safe before accepting jobs.
The driver must check:
- Tire pressure.
- Tire tread.
- Cracks.
- Bulges.
- Nails or sharp objects.
- Slow leaks.
- Spare tire availability where possible.
- Wheel nuts if there was recent repair work.
Not acceptable:
- Bald tires.
- Flat tires.
- Tires with visible wire.
- Tires with sidewall damage.
- Driving on a tire that keeps losing air.
- Ignoring tire vibration or pulling.
Tires are not only a vehicle issue. They are a customer safety issue.
A driver must not carry passengers, children, food, packages, or airport customers with unsafe tires.
16. Brake Standard
Brakes must be working properly before any job.
The driver must check for:
- Brake pressure.
- Soft brake pedal.
- Grinding noise.
- Squealing noise.
- Vehicle pulling when braking.
- Brake warning light.
- Burning smell.
- Delayed stopping.
- Vibration when braking.
If the brakes feel unsafe, the vehicle must not be used.
No fare, delivery, or trip is worth risking lives because of bad brakes.
Brakes are a stop-work issue.
17. Lights and Signals
The driver must check lights daily, especially before evening or early morning work.
Check:
- Headlights.
- Brake lights.
- Indicators.
- Hazard lights.
- Reverse lights.
- Interior light if needed.
- License plate light where required.
A vehicle with broken brake lights or indicators is unsafe and unprofessional.
18. Fuel, Oil, and Fluid Leaks
The driver must check for basic vehicle readiness.
Before duty, check:
- Fuel level.
- Engine oil warning.
- Coolant temperature.
- Brake fluid warning.
- Transmission issues.
- Visible leaks under vehicle.
- Fuel smell.
- Burning smell.
Not acceptable:
- Starting work with fuel too low.
- Ignoring warning lights.
- Carrying customers with overheating vehicle.
- Carrying passengers while smelling fuel.
- Parking where leaking oil or fluid can stain customer property.
A breakdown with a customer inside damages trust fast.
19. Food Delivery Vehicle Standard
For food delivery, the vehicle must be clean enough to carry meals safely.
The driver must ensure:
- No garbage near food.
- No smoke smell.
- No dirty seats or floor used for food.
- No chemicals near food.
- No fuel or oil smell.
- Delivery bag is clean.
- Food stays upright and secure.
- Hot food and cold drinks are handled carefully.
Food must never be placed on dirty floor mats.
The customer is not only judging QuickRide. They are judging whether their food was handled cleanly.
20. Passenger Vehicle Standard
For passenger trips, the vehicle must feel safe and comfortable.
The driver must ensure:
- Seats are clean.
- Air is fresh.
- No bad smell.
- AC or ventilation is working.
- Seat belts are available.
- No garbage.
- No loud mechanical issues.
- No unsafe tires or brakes.
- No personal clutter.
- No dirty windows.
Passengers are inside the vehicle with the driver. Every smell, stain, sound, and mess becomes more noticeable.
21. School Transfer Vehicle Standard
School transfer vehicles must be held to one of the highest standards.
The vehicle must have:
- Clean seats.
- Clean floor.
- Working seat belts where available.
- No smoke smell.
- No alcohol smell.
- No marijuana smell.
- No garbage.
- No unsafe tires.
- No brake issues.
- No unrelated passengers.
- No dangerous items in the vehicle.
Parents must feel the vehicle is safe enough for their child.
If the vehicle looks careless, school transfer trust is gone.
22. Airport Transfer Vehicle Standard
Airport transfer vehicles must be especially clean and ready.
The driver must check:
- Exterior appearance.
- Interior cleanliness.
- AC.
- Luggage space.
- Fuel.
- Tires.
- Brakes.
- Windows.
- No bad smell.
- No garbage.
- No personal clutter.
Airport customers often carry luggage, documents, and travel stress. The vehicle must feel reliable before the trip starts.
23. Daily Vehicle Readiness Checklist
Before accepting work, the driver must confirm:
- Vehicle outside is presentable.
- Windshield is clean.
- Mirrors are clean.
- Interior is clean.
- Seats are clean.

- Clean food or drink spills.
- Shake or clean mats.
- Remove delivery packaging.
- Wipe dusty surfaces.
- Check fuel level for next shift.
- Report any mechanical issue.
- Report AC, tire, brake, or warning light problems.
A clean vehicle at night makes the next day easier.
25. Lost Items Check
After passenger trips, especially airport, school, and regular trips, the driver must check:
- Back seat.
- Floor.
- Door pockets.
- Trunk.
- Seat gaps.
If any item is found, the driver must report it to QuickRide/admin immediately.
The driver must not keep, use, open, or hide customer property.
26. Mechanical Problem Reporting
The driver must report immediately if there is:
- Brake problem.
- Tire problem.
- Steering problem.
- AC problem.
- Overheating.
- Warning light.
- Strange engine noise.
- Strong fuel smell.
- Oil leak.
- Electrical issue.
- Door or seat belt problem.
Small vehicle problems become expensive and dangerous when ignored.
A driver must not hide vehicle problems to keep receiving jobs.
27. Enforcement Standard
QuickRide may refuse to assign jobs if the vehicle:
- Is dirty.
- Smells bad.
- Has garbage inside.
- Has unsafe tires.
- Has brake issues.
- Has no working AC where required.
- Has customer space blocked.
- Has food/package space contaminated.
- Looks neglected.
- Creates safety concerns.
This is not punishment. This is brand protection and customer safety.

- Free from bad odor.
- Safe to drive.
- Ready for passengers.
- Ready for deliveries.
- Free from unsafe tire or brake issues.
- Properly ventilated.
